Felt Plush Video Tutorial by hellohappycrafts Felt Plush Video Tutorial by hellohappycrafts

---------------------------------------------------------------

There are a few felt tutorials on dA already, but I thought I'd make my own. Why?

Why the heck not?
Also because having a webcam is fun :D

What you'll need:
- this pattern, printed onto cardstock (you can use paper if you really want to)
- 2-4 colors of felt (you can use a different fabric if you really want to...lol there is a pattern here)
- scissors
- sewing needle
- thread that hopefully matches your felt
- some kind of stuffing (polyfil, or even cut up bits of felt will work)

And here's the video! [link]

I have the pattern printed, but other than that I do every single thing in front of the camera, so you can easily complete the plush right along with me!

Tomorrow I have to try and help a friend make a stuffed elephant. I hope she will agree to do something simple. I have never made an elephant. and I dunno how well it's gonna work teaching some one that's never sewn before. >_<

ANy ways! I really like the videos you have been doing they are helpful!

hmms. Maybe you could make a tutorial on the basic stitches you do for beginners? (like me ;D) or a video of you sewing one of those cute bunny creatures XD

Oh yeah, I guess that's not a bad idea. Dunno how well my webcam would work for that since it's kinda crappy. :P

No, I almost never use a running stitch, it's not very secure. I only ever use it for decoration.

I used the overhand stitch, back stitch and blanket stitch.
